A Carousel for Missoula
Pal's Pal

National Carousel Association Logo © A Carousel for Missoula

Pal was a parrot which once inhabited a floral shop in Missoula, and often rode around on his owner's shoulder. A hand-carved Pal rides on this pony, which received the name Pal's Pal.

Pal's hooves were carved without frogs (a frog is the horny pad on the sole of the hoof). So a wooden frog was carved on one of the front hooves instead!
